INTERNAL MEASURING INSTRUMENTS Schut for Precision
Schwenk internal measuring instruments
Internal measuring instruments used for measuring diameters of cylindrical bores and form
deviations for instance roundness and cylindricity, compared to standards such as setting rings. In
order to read out the measured values, any existing dial indicator or measuring probe with a clamping
stem of ø 8 mm can be used. The reversal point marks the diameter of the bores. When using digital
indicators a model with a hold function for minimal measuring value is recommended.
Measuring range: 4.5 - 800 mm. Clamping shaft: ø 8 mm.
Read-out depends on the type of dial indicator Self-centering bridge.
Measuring pins supplied with tungsten
or measuring probe.
Accuracy: 4.5 - 290 mm: ≤ 0.002 mm, carbide ball tip.
Interchangeable pins also available with steel
280 - 800 mm: ≤ 0.003 mm.
Repeatability: 4.5 - 290 mm: ≤ 0.0005 mm, or ruby ball tip.
Centering bridge also available with a wear-
280 - 800 mm: ≤ 0.0015 mm.
resistant coating.
Delivery in a wooden case with measuring
inserts and spacer rings (from 12 mm).
Excl. dial indicator or measuring probe.
Measuring depth extensions available on
request.
Sets consist of 2 or 3 instruments in one
wooden case.
