Mitutoyo U-WAVE wireless communication system

Wireless system for the transmission of Digimatic instrument measuring data to a PC for data
analysis in for instance Microsoft Excel. The system consists of a transmitter and receiver with a
communication distance up to 20 meter within visible range. Up to 100 transmitters can be connected
to a receiver and up to 16 receivers to a PC. Measuring data can be sent from the measuring
instrument or requested by the PC. A multi-channel input of measured values into e.g. Microsoft
Excel is possible. With the USB-ITPAK software (full version) Excel sheets can be easily created.

The U-Wave Fit transmitter system has the advantage that the transmitter fits on the back of the
instrument, resulting in better ergonomics. The U-Wave Fit fits calipers with a measuring range up to
and including 300 mm, and all standard micrometers. In addition, the U-Wave transmitter system is
also available in a Bluetooth version. This enables direct data transfer to a smartphone, tablet, or PC.
To do this, Mitutoyo offers free (downloadable) software apps for use with Microsoft Excel. Per PC it
is possible to connect up to 7 instruments, and per smartphone or tablet up to 3 instruments.
